About the Role:
Role Name : Security Architect
Experience : 5 - 10 Years
Location : Chennai (DLF IT Park, Porur)
Roles and Responsibilites:
• Design and implement secure architectures in collaboration with development, testing, operations, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop security blueprints and ensure applications and services are secure by design.
• Translate ecommerce business requirements into security architecture and documentation.
• Perform threat modeling for applications, systems, and data.
• Define and enforce security standards, guidelines, and assurance frameworks aligned with industry best practices and compliance.
• Guide implementation of cloud-native security controls including IAM, encryption, monitoring, and threat detection.
• Collaborate with vendors and third parties to evaluate and recommend security solutions.
• Support incident response activities and continuously improve security controls.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, tools, and trends.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, including 2+ years in an ecommerce security architect role.
• Strong expertise in ecommerce security architecture, best practices, and tools.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience working with security control and compliance frameworks including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
