Aruba Network Engineer L2

Overview

Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring an experienced L2 Network Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Aruba and HP networking solutions, along with solid experience in administering Wi-Fi systems, ClearPass policy management, and network switching infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Administer and maintain Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) for secure network access control.
• Handle Aruba Central Administration tasks, including configuration management and monitoring.
• Perform HP & Aruba switch setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure smooth operation of enterprise network systems.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions proactively.
• Maintain documentation related to network configurations and support procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

-Strong hands-on experience with Aruba Wi-Fi Engineering
-Expertise in ClearPass (CPPM) Administration
-Familiarity with Aruba Central Administration
-Experience managing HP and Aruba network switches
-Exposure to Extreme Wi-Fi solutions will be an added advantage
-Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication abilities

Nice to Have:

• Aruba or HP Networking certifications (e.g., ACMP, ACCP, HPE ASE)
• Experience in enterprise-scale network support
• Exposure to NAC (Network Access Control) best practices
