Brief Description of the Role
A Talent Business Analyst collaborates with assigned Talent Business Advisor(s) to deliver strategic Talent services to the business. By partnering with Business Leaders, they translate business strategies into actionable Talent initiatives, leveraging analytics and insights to drive impactful results. This role involves challenging conventional thinking, identifying organizational trends, and aligning Talent programs with business objectives while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Talent Business Advisors and Business Leaders to align Talent strategies with business goals.
- Identify organizational trends, anticipate challenges, conduct research, and propose innovative Talent solutions.
- Drive and assist key processes such as compensation planning exercise, benchmarking exercise, promotion cycles, Internal mobility and transfers for the aligned business, in collaboration with Talent Business Advisors
- Analyze workforce data, key metrics, customized reports and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and enhance Talent programs and processes under the guidance of Talent Business Advisors.
- Assist Talent Business Advisors in crafting action plans and launching new initiatives.
- Monitor growth metrics, attrition rates, and hiring trends to forecast future business needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of Talent policies with business objectives.
- Support the rollout of new Talent-related technologies and processes and demonstrate the ability to work with Talent tools.
- Contribute to process improvement projects to enhance Talent management efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize based on importance and urgency.
- Execute delivery related activities and tasks (e.g., Lifecycle Processes). Spend the majority of their time on delivery across Talent-related initiatives and teams, focused on managing data integrity and business-specific reporting efforts."
- Lead certain threads within a larger program implementation at Function level
- Have a strong understanding of metrics and build an effective point of view based on past trends and link metrics to draw insights in sync with other sources of information
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: MBA or Equivalent Degree
Preferred:
- Certifications: SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent
Experience: 5 to 8 years for AM and 7 to 9 years for DM
Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Extract insights from diverse data sets. Provide a point of view
- Storyboarding: Visualize and map ideas and narratives for clear presentations.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop adaptive Talent strategies influenced by market trends.
