Assistant Manager – Product Design & Development (Automotive and auto component)

Overview

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Product Design & Development

Job Purpose: To ensure that Product Design and development is as per customer requirement.

Role: Product design in discussion with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of RFQ documents (customer application data, proposal drawings, quote details, CRM, Co ordinating with sales and customer) and their document controls.
• Discussion and support to customers at pre and post development stage.
• Responsibility of generating product drawings at the time of quotation and start of development.
• Modify product designs based on the analysis to re-test and analyze until design meets specification requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the record documentation - Process Flow Chart, Key indicators, APQP files, maintain master drawings and issue control drawings.
• Sound knowledge of on Auto-Cad and NX (Unigraphics).

Education: BE/BTech (Mechanical)

Experience: 7.5 Plus for Assistant Manager Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Automotive firm) / Automobile Manufacturing

Reporting: Reports to - AGM Design & Development
