Overview

We are looking for a Salesforce Associate Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to support the delivery of Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand business requirements, translate them into Salesforce solutions, and support successful project delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of business analysis practices, Salesforce platform
capabilities, and CRM business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
    ● Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and gather requirements for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
    ● Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement discovery sessions.
    ● Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
    ● Identify process gaps and propose improvements using Salesforce capabilities.

  2. Documentation & Deliverables
    Prepare and maintain project documentation including:
    ● Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
    ● Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
    ● User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
    ● Process Flow Diagrams
    ● Use Cases
    ● Data Mapping Documents
    ● Solution Design Inputs
    Ensure documentation is clear, structured, and aligned with project objectives.

  3. Salesforce Solution Support
    ● Work with Salesforce Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to define the solution
    approach.
    ● Support configuration discussions around:

Objects
Fields
Page layouts
Validation rules
Workflow/Flow automation
Reports and dashboards
● Ensure requirements are feasible within Salesforce platform capabilities.

  1. Process Mapping & Business Analysis
    ● Analyze current (As-Is) business processes.
    ● Define future (To-Be) processes aligned with Salesforce solutions.
    ● Create process diagrams (BPMN / swimlane diagrams) using tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
    ● Recommend improvements to increase process efficiency and automation.

  2. Agile Project Participation
    ● Participate in Agile ceremonies including:

Sprint planning
Backlog grooming
Daily standups
Sprint reviews
● Maintain and manage user stories in JIRA or similar tools.

● Work with developers during sprint execution to clarify requirements.

  1. Testing & Quality Assurance
    ● Prepare test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
    ● Support System Testing and UAT activities.
    ● Validate that implemented functionality meets business expectations.
    ● Track and manage defects during testing cycles.

  2. Stakeholder Communication
    ● Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
    ● Provide functional clarifications during development.
    ● Assist in project status updates and stakeholder communication.

  3. Training & Adoption Support
    ● Assist in preparing training materials and user documentation.
    ● Support user training sessions and adoption activities.
    ● Provide guidance to business users on Salesforce features.

Required Skills
Salesforce Knowledge
● Basic understanding of Salesforce platform and CRM concepts
● Exposure to at least one Salesforce cloud:

Sales Cloud
Service Cloud
Experience Cloud
● Understanding of:

Objects & relationships
Reports and dashboards
Basic automation (Flow / Workflow)

Business Analysis Skills
● Requirement gathering
● Stakeholder communication
● Process analysis
● Documentation skills
● Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Tools & Technologies

Experience with tools such as:
● Salesforce CRM
● JIRA / ClickUp / Azure DevOps
● Lucidchart / Visio / Miro for process diagrams
● Confluence / Google Docs / MS Word for documentation
● Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis

Soft Skills
● Strong communication skills
● Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
● Attention to detail
● Collaboration with cross-functional teams
● Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications
● Salesforce Certification preferred:

Salesforce Administrator
Salesforce Business Analyst
● Experience working in Salesforce implementation projects
● Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery model

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:
● Business Administration
● Information Systems
● Computer Science
● Engineering or related field.

Experience
● 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in CRM or Salesforce projects
● Experience working in Salesforce consulting or implementation projects preferred
