As a Senior Business Analyst within a SaaS company specializing in financial services, leads strategic initiatives to optimize business operations, define processes, and drive impactful improvements across departments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, HR, legal, and support. The Senior Business Analyst will analyze complex business challenges, recommend streamlined solutions, and oversee implementation through cross-team coordination. Bringing expertise in AI-driven solutions, data analysis, and business intelligence tools will enable enhanced operational efficiency and informed decision-making. Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels will be essential in fostering collaboration and driving innovation.

Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with engineering, product, HR, legal, and support departments to identify business challenges and operational inefficiencies.
- Define, document, and implement streamlined solutions that improve processes while aligning with organizational objectives.
- Gather, refine, and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable plans, fostering efficient cross-team collaboration and project success.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, ensuring clarity in reporting and presentation of findings.
AI and Data Analytics
- Evaluate AI-driven use cases and recommend applications to optimize operations and enhance efficiency across departments.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights and trends, creating actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
- Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI, Snowflake, and Excel to support decision-making and operational enhancements.
Technical Enablement
- Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Atlassian Intelligence) to automate tasks and increase efficiency of support team.
- Apply ITSM principles (e.g., ITIL and KCS) to streamline workflows, improving support operations and governance processes.
- Build basic configurations in platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Slack) for automating tasks and driving operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze operational and business process challenges and recommend scalable process improvements within a SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams including engineering, product, support, HR, and legal to drive operational initiatives and process alignment.
- Experience gathering, refining, and translating business requirements into actionable operational or technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex datasets, identify trends, and develop data-driven recommendations.
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled operational workflows and automation use cases that improve efficiency and support organizational objectives.
- Ability to communicate findings, recommendations, and operational updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including ITIL and Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS), and their application within customer support operations.
Computer Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience working with data platforms and analytics tools, including Snowflake or comparable technologies.
- Working knowledge of workflow and collaboration platforms including Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Experience leveraging AI productivity and automation tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and Atlassian Intelligence to improve operational efficiency.
- Ability to configure basic workflow automation,dashboards, and reporting solutions to support operational processes and governance activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, operational program management, process improvement, or related functions within a SaaS organization, preferably in financial services.
- Experience supporting cross-functional operational initiatives and driving measurable process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled business operations, analytics-driven decision-making, and operational workflow optimization.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Agile-related certifications are preferred but not required.
