About the department
You will be joining the Finance GBS Bangalore team, established in 2007. Our team is responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, North America, International Operations (IO), Product Supply & GBS Bangalore. The position
As an Associate Business Analyst, you will:
Ensure all tasks are delivered as per stakeholder expectations. Provide consistent high-quality deliverables. Ensure proactive communication around the process. Provide stakeholders with reliable and correct financial information and analyses. Support R&D Finance controllers in processes and key initiatives. Proactively pursue increased business understanding of R&D. Lead the monthly Clinical Trials Accrual process to ensure accurate and timely accruals. Maintain and document key controls related to SARBOX compliance. Manage and reconcile Master Data across SAP ECC and BW systems. Ensure data integrity and consistency between systems. Act as the system owner for SAP BW GPRS and Logbook Budgeting in collaboration Finance partners and LoBs on the process. Working on the incident management to bridge the gap and understanding between IT Organisation and Line of Business.
- Implement IT change requests and improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Support in SAP ERP Integration Project and perform month-end closure activities in coordination with the headquarters' team.
- Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budget Support and Adhoc Tasks. Provide support in budget-related activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Handle adhoc tasks as required to support department objectives. Maintain up-to-date process, user guideline, and technical documents.
Qualifications
- A master’s in finance (or equivalent) from a well-recognized institute.
- Managed or part of Finance transformation/implementation/projects with 3-6 years of experience.
- Ownership in driving different system reconciliation, followed by performing the root cause and fix the systems.
- Must have in-depth knowledge in SAP ECC/BW with FP&A or Accounting background.
- Working experience in Power BI visualization and data modelling are an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights. Ability to present complex data in a clear, simple, and structured fashion.
