Overview
Job Description
The Production Service Developer role will support clients on critical patient safety issues and financial revenue. This team provides Millennium and Soarian Solutions support on a 24x7x365 basis to clients in Asia Pacific, Australia, and the US and is crucial to Oracle Cerner's global delivery. The complex issues that require technical troubleshooting and analysis are handled by these support employees by applying basic code and testing changes to fix/resolve issues. They provide on-call support to clients when required. Production Service Developer collaborate with the development team on issues that require a code change by identifying the segment of code contributing to the issue.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Production Service Developer team, you will troubleshoot and analyze intermediate technical coding issues submitted by internal or external clients. Triage and escalate incidents, problem management issues and urgent issues requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources. Provide release support for go-lives and code deployments. Effectively use and navigate development process and code repositories. Apply coding and testing changes and fixes to resolve issues. Develop and execute test plans for basic diagnostic packages. Perform root cause analysis to identify appropriate solution for the issues.
