We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for functional testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, identifying bugs, and validating application features according to business requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and understand software requirements and technical specifications.
- Design, create, and execute functional test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end manual testing for web, mobile, and backend services.
- Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Validate backend data by writing and executing SQL queries.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Support regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing cycles.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing (Web and Mobile apps).
- Good understanding of API Testing principles, including RESTful services.
- Strong skills in Database Testing with proficiency in SQL.
- Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiar with tools like Postman, MySQL/SQL Server.
- Ability to document clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases.
- Basic knowledge of automation concepts is a plus
