About The Role

We're seeking a talented and motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our growing team working with big data technologies. This position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for problem-solving and interest in data engineering and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions for big data processing and analytics
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java and/or Python
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and Spark
• Implement and enhance data transformation and integration processes
• Debug and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Assist in performance tuning and optimization of existing applications
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a team environment
  
  

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with Java and/or Python programming
• Familiarity with big data concepts
• Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark
• Understanding of XSLT
• Experience with data structures and algorithms
