About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define automation scope.
2. Create and manage test cases, test suites, and test data to ensure coverage of functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
3. Perform API testing using Katalon's built-in API/Web Service testing capabilities.
4. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar).
5. Execute automated test runs, analyze results, and log defects in tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
6. Maintain reusable automation components and enhance existing scripts for scalability.
7. Work with version control systems (Git) to manage test script repositories.
8. Report test progress, coverage, and automation health metrics to stakeholders.
9. Follow best practices in automation coding, including proper documentation and adherence to coding standards.

Other Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Katalon Studio.

2. Strong understanding of automation frameworks and best practices.

3. Proficiency in API/Web Service testing.

4. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

5. Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps).

6. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
