Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and other related technologies.
They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality software.

Job Description
API/Integration Software Engineer Software Engineer designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and other related technologies.
They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Java-based web applications using Spring Framework.
- Work with other engineers to design and implement the overall architecture of our software systems.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of our code.
- Work with product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 or more years in full-stack software development
- Strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and other related technologies
- 5 or more years in API integrations
- Experience integrating with Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and/or social media API is preferred REST Graph EDI
- Experience with the integration security considerations : Data encryption during transmission and storage Authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Tokens)
- Auditing and logging
- Experience monitoring API usage, managing rate limits, caching and batching, and robust error handling and retry logic.
- 2 or more years of experience working with databases.
- 2 or more years of experience working with public cloud Google Cloud Platform (preferred) Amazon Web Services Azure
- 2 or more years of experience with message buses
- RabbitMQ (preferred) Kafka
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
