Automation(Playwright) Test Engineer –

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with deep hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript, and working knowledge of Selenium. This role is ideal for someone who can build robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions for modern web applications within a CI/CD environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
• Build end-to-end test cases for web-based applications covering UI, functional, and regression testing
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution
• Collaborate with Developers, QA team members, Product Owners, and DevOps to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Debug test failures, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to improving test efficiency
• Use Selenium for legacy test suites or supplementary scenarios when required
• Document test plans, scenarios, and best practices

Required Skills:

• 3–6 years of hands-on automation testing experience
• Strong expertise in Playwright with TypeScript (must-have)
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript-based test frameworks
• Working experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Proficient in CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar)
• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM)
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration s

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹333,668.52 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
