About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated fresher to join our team within the area of Web Automation testing. The candidate should have a strong inclination towards building a career in Software Testing and Test Automation. So, a basic understanding of Software Testing principles, Test Automation and a strong willingness to learn is a must. Some exposure to creating automated test scripts within a project/internship will be a plus. An ideal candidate will demonstrate and achieve the above goals through excellent collaboration, accountability, a ‘getting things done’ approach, and through an ability to embrace change.
What You'll Do & Learn (Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with Product Experts/Testers to understand software testing requirements and related functionality.
- Write Test Cases, Perform assigned Manual/Exploratory testing as required.
- Assist in developing and executing automated test cases under supervision.
- Maintain and update automation scripts as required.
- Debug issues encountered in automation testing and report defects.
- Participate in team discussions on automation framework design and enhancements.
- Document learnings and share knowledge with the team as needed.
What We're Looking For (Experience and Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and processes.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferred: JavaScript).
- Basic exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright or Cypress (even academic experience is acceptable).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Exposure to concepts like API testing, or CI/CD practices (optional).

- Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn.
- Flexibility and adaptability, ability to work in ambiguous situations, and also evolve as a great team-player.
- Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
