We are seeking a motivated Automation QA Engineer I to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience in test automation who wants to grow their career in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our automotive retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
  
  

Quality Assurance

• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities.
• Create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on functional requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Document and track defects using bug tracking tools.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Provide clear and concise reports on test execution results and quality metrics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
• Previous experience in the automotive or retail industry.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
