Job Title: Automation QA Test Engineer - AVP
Location: Pune, India
Role Description
- We are seeking a Automation QA Test Engineer to join our Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.
- You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, validate complex user flows, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for quality engineering.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage goals
- Develop and execute end-to-end, regression, performance, and security tests
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Maintain test data, environments, and reusable components for scalable automation
- Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and internationalization standards
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing of enterprise-grade applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Karate
- Familiarity with OAuth2/SAML/OpenID Connect flows and federated identity systems is a plus
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Fluent in English
