The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts for web applications, microservices, and serverless architectures.
You will work in a collaborative, agile environment with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, and JMeter.
- Conduct automated testing for frontend, microservices, and serverless applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports for comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviews to ensure timely and quality releases.
- Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and follow up on defect resolutions.
- 5+ years of automation testing experience in enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, and JMeter.
- Hands-on experience with testing microservices APIs and serverless components.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with performance/load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
