Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our testing strategies, improving test coverage, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Experience with JIRA/Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and other testing tools
- Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and End-to-End (E2E) testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Perform test data setup, environment configuration, and troubleshoot automation issues
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and identify test automation needs
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility
- Track and manage test cases, execution results, and defects using JIRA
- Monitor test executions, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation in JIRA
- Implement performance and load testing where necessary
- Continuously optimize test scripts, improve execution speed, and enhance framework scalability
- Mentor junior testers and share best practices with the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing with tools like Playwright and Selenium
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
- Experience with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Supertest
- Hands-on experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking, test case management, and reporting
- Solid understanding of testing concepts: Smoke, Regression, Integration, and Performance Testing
- Proficiency in version control tools such as Git
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile teams
- Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure
- Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools like Cucumber
- Understanding of monitoring tools and reporting dashboards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Professional) are a plus
