Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer – Python to join the QA team at Vikgol. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automation testing with a solid foundation in Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Take full ownership of the automation suite and ensure high coverage.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and strategies.
• Perform thorough manual testing where required, including exploratory and regression testing.
• Test mobile applications across platforms for performance, usability, and reliability.
• Execute testing tasks in Automotive domains such as virtual assistants, head units, and infotainment systems.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with at least 4+ years in Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in Python for building automation solutions.
• Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch and maintain them.
• Strong experience in manual testing, including writing test plans and strategies.
• Experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android).
• Exposure to Automotive testing, such as working with virtual assistants or head units.
• Familiarity with AWS Cloud (nice to have).
