Automation Test Engineer

Overview

Position Description

Experience in Information Technology with specialization in Software Quality Assurance Testing. Proficient in creating automation scripts and automation frameworks from scratch, testing on Client/Server and Web-based applications.

Experience in all phases of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Bug Life Cycle, and development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

Expert in developing Java Selenium WebDriver test scripts and test frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber, along with ANT and MAVEN build tools.

Proficient in scripting for Functional Testing, GUI Testing, Regression Testing, Re-testing, End-to-End Testing, and Cross-browser testing on web-based applications.

Solid experience working with different frameworks such as Data-Driven Framework, Page Object Model (POM), and BDD framework.

Experience using Jenkins as a Continuous Integration server, configured with GitHub and Maven.

Proficient in creating business-based functional test scenarios, test plans, test cases, test scripts, test specifications, and traceability matrix.

Experience with JSON and testing web services using Postman and Rest Assured.

Expertise in documenting defects with a high level of detail, accuracy, and informative reproduction steps using Quality Center, JIRA, and Bugzilla.

Expert in writing SQL queries to perform data validation and back-end database testing to ensure data integrity.

Proficient in code crawling across Java, JavaScript, and databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.

Able to develop Java web applications from scratch.

Excellent interpersonal skills; a proven team player with strong analytical problem-solving abilities and the capability to deliver under high-stress environments with minimal supervision.
