Automation Test Lead

Key Accountabilities of the role

Responsibilities

• Set up the framework architecture for Performance, Load, Stress and Security
  
  

testing, get reviews and approvals from the Stakeholders

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for performance testing,
  
  

scalability testing, reliability testing, availability testing, usability testing, and security testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, availability, usability, and security

• Support a team of quality engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Design, develop, and execute performance testing using tools such as Loadrunner, Jmeter, selenium, etc.
• Load testing ( automation ) in CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, analyse, and report software defects, risks and issues, identify performance bottlenecks, areas for
  
  

optimisation, and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide technical guidance and feedback to developers and product managers
• Promote quality standards and best practices throughout the SDLC
• Quality Engineering Advocate
• Embed non-functional testing requirements in the SDLC/ALM process
• Work with the team to find out critical areas and bottlenecks for performance

• Define best engineer practices to be followed for non-functional testing
• Write test scripts for Load, Stress and performance testing
• Monitor application logs to determine system behaviour and predictability
• Conduct training sessions with the Quality Engineering Team on non-functional

• Demonstrate an understanding of event-based, big data, and cloud systems architectures.
• Conduct NFT testing of event-based, high throughput, private/public cloud systems to validate performance,
  
  

scalability, and reliability.

• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in quality engineering, performance testing,
  
  

and NFT testing.

Work Experience & Functional/Technical Skills Required

• 6+ years of experience in quality engineering, performance testing, and NFT testing.
• Experience with SAAS and PAAS preferable MS Dynamics and Azure
• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as Loadrunner, Jmeter, Selenium, etc.
• Experienced in monitoring and alerting – MS Apps dynamic, data dog, Apps insight etc
• Experience of cloud Azure / AWS.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong experience in cross functional teams NFR test management & reporting for large programs.
• Proficiency in performance metrics and analytics reporting and dashboards.
• Experience with scalability, reliability, availability, usability, and security testing.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with event-based, big data, and cloud systems architectures.
• Experience with NFT testing of event-based, high throughput, private/public cloud systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Relevant certifications in quality engineering, performance testing, or NFT testing are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Or master’s degree
  
  

Desirable experience in MS Dynamics, Field Service, FSM and Azure. Scriptless automation testing.
