AWS Architect, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

You're the kind of AWS Architect who doesn't just adapt to change; you drive it. If transforming chaotic legacy systems into streamlined, automated AWS environments excites you, then read on. We're seeking an expert in AWS infrastructure who excels in high-pressure settings where 99.9% uptime is the norm. You'll tackle diverse acquired product portfolios, each with its own complexities, and integrate them into a cohesive, scalable AWS ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing

• Orchestrating complex infrastructure transformations, including migrating legacy systems to AWS and executing lift-and-shift migrations.
• Crafting monitoring strategies and developing automation for monitoring, software deployment, and operational workflows.
• Conducting system monitoring, performing backups, responding to incidents, executing database migrations, configuring databases, and optimizing costs.

AWS Architect Key Responsibilities

Ensure the reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio by implementing robust monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.

Basic Requirements

• Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure is essential (other cloud experience won't suffice).
• Proficient programming skills in Python or JavaScript for automation and tooling development.
• Experience managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL).
• Advanced skills in Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Expertise in Linux systems administration.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
