Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to build data solutions that support real-time and batch data processing, ensuring high data quality, security, and availability.

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis).
- Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Optimize performance and cost of data pipelines and storage solutions.
- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data needs and implement scalable solutions.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation of data workflows and architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- [3-7+] years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services such as : Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, Step Functions
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD in a data environment.
- AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hive, Presto).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
