AWS Data Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions using S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, and other AWS data services.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to create efficient data models and warehouse solutions.
• Build and manage streaming and batch data processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Kinesis, or similar technologies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance standards are met across all data pipelines.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver integrated data solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Optimize query performance and data workflows for improved analytics and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR, Kinesis, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with big data processing tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Exposure to machine learning pipelines and AI/ML services on AWS.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month

Experience:

• AWS DATA ENGINEER: 10 years (Required)
