Role Description
DevOps, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Cloud Security, SSL/TLS, ACM, IAM, Security Group
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS core services:
- Compute & Storage: EC2, S3
- Networking & Load Balancing: ALB, Route 53, VPCs
- Database: RDS (MySQL)
- Proficient in setting up secure, scalable cloud environments using AWS best practices.
- Experience with SSL certificate management via AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).
- Practical knowledge of DNS configuration and management using Route 53.
- Solid understanding of SSL/TLS, HTTPS configuration, and encryption in transit.
- Experience managing SSL certificates and secure communications in AWS.
- Exposure to IAM, security groups, and network ACLs (NACLs) with a basic understanding of cloud compliance configurations.
- Terraform expert for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation and provisioning.
- Built and managed CI/CD pipelines using:
- Git
- AWS CodePipeline
- AWS CodeBuild
- Exposure to GitOps principles and implementation using tools like ArgoCD.
- Proficient with Docker for containerized deployments.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Amazon EKS.
- Understanding of essential Kubernetes components:
- Deployments
- Services
- ConfigMaps
- Secrets
- Experience using CloudWatch for monitoring and basic ing.
- Familiar with RDS snapshot-based backup and restore procedures.
- Basic understanding of Kafka setup and event streaming integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for:
- Deployment failures
- Networking issues
- SSL/HTTPS errors
- AWS Certifications:
- Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred)
- SysOps Administrator – Associate (preferred)
- Exposure to:
- AWS CloudFront
- AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF)
