Azure Cloud DevOps Engineer - 6+ Months

Overview

Hi all, we are currently looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer. You will work across the Azure cloud ecosystem to support deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure efficient, secure operations. The environment requires someone with strong fundamentals, proactive ownership, and a solid understanding of Azure services and Microsoft best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate deployment workflows and environment provisioning
• Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure across multiple services
• Build and manage Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform
• Implement best‑practice DevOps standards across security, governance, and operations
• Develop and support containerisation approaches (Docker, container-based workloads, data containerisation strategies, etc.)
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and cloud platform issues
• Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
• Work closely with development teams to streamline releases and improve delivery performance
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong Azure exposure
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud services (App Services, VMs, Networking, Storage, Monitoring, Key Vault, etc.)
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines, Artifacts)
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, container registries, container build & deployment patterns)
• Strong grasp of Microsoft cloud and DevOps best practices
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
• Good troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in remote setups

• Duration: 6+ months with extensions
• Location: Remote - India
