Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Azure Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. As a Level 2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our Azure-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to resolve issues, implement solutions, and maintain a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide Level 1+ support for Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Virtual Machines (VMs): Assist with the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Azure VMs.
- Load Balancers: Configure and manage Azure Load Balancers to ensure efficient distribution of network traffic.
- Networking: Support Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, and VPN Gateways.
- Monitoring: Utilize Azure Monitoring tools to track the performance and health of cloud resources, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their needs in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of Azure services.
Requirements
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Azure Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Virtual Machines: Experience with the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure VMs.
- Load Balancing: Knowledge of configuring and managing Azure Load Balancers.
- Networking: Familiarity with Azure networking components, such as Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, and VPN Gateways.
- Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in using Azure Monitoring tools to track the performance and health of cloud resources.
- Backup Solutions: Experience with Azure Backup and Site Recovery for backup and disaster recovery.
- Technical Support: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and addressing client needs.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
- Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.).

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensures and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials.
