We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our core team and help scale our logistics platform. You'll work directly with our CTO and founding engineers to build and optimize backend systems that handle millions of API requests daily.

As a Backend Engineer you will:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using NodeJS and Golang
• Architect high-concurrency systems optimized to handle millions of API requests efficiently
• Work on platform scaling challenges and implement solutions for concurrent request management
• Optimize API performance and latency for a high-throughput logistics platform
• Build robust APIs for seamless integration with multiple logistics partners
• Collaborate with the founding team to drive technical decisions and platform direction
• Contribute to system reliability, monitoring, and infrastructure improvements
• Mentor and collaborate with team members on best practices

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong expertise in NodeJS and/or Golang
• Demonstrated experience with scaling systems and handling high concurrency
• Proven track record of optimizing high-volume API requests and distributed systems
• Deep understanding of concurrency patterns, async programming, and performance optimization
• Experience with databases, caching, and system architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code

Nice to Have

• Experience with logistics, e-commerce, or marketplace platforms
• Experience in scaling up Databases
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
• Open-source contributions or public projects demonstrating scaling expertise

Portfolio Requirements:

You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating:

• Projects with significant scaling challenges you've personally solved
• Production systems handling high concurrency that you've architected or optimized
• OR experience from a previous internship or role on a well-engineered backend project
• Code samples or public repositories showcasing your backend engineering capabilities
• We are most interested in candidates who can demonstrate hands-on scaling experience and deep technical expertise.
