Role Summary

We’re hiring a Backend Developer with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for research-driven development.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on open-ended problems, exploring multiple approaches, and building backend systems that are thoughtful, scalable, and reliable.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build backend systems and APIs
• Research solutions before implementation
• Break down ambiguous requirements into clear technical plans
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely on evolving product requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think in systems, not just code
• Experience with at least one backend language (Python / Node.js / Go)
• Good understanding of APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Comfortable learning new tools and concepts independently

Nice to Have

• Experience with async processing, background jobs, or queues
• Basic understanding of system design and architecture
• Exposure to cloud or scalable backend environments
