Your Role And Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java or GoLang in a cloud-native environment.
- Contribute to the evolution of microservices-based architectures and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and performant backend functionality.
- Implement backend integration with external systems, APIs, and services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend systems for performance and reliability.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure setup using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Participate in peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and support automated testing strategies.
- Contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and Agile development best practices.
- Mentor junior developers on technical concepts and tools.
Master's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- 6+ years of experience in backend development with expertise in Java, J2EE, and working knowledge of GoLang.
- Strong understanding of designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including versioning, authentication, and documentation.
- Proficient with Postgres or equivalent RDBMS – writing efficient queries, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with microservices-based architectures and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Solid experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiar with monitoring/logging frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS (ECS, EKS) or similar cloud platforms.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices, including secure development principles and basic compliance awareness.
- Practical experience with testing frameworks like JMeter, JUnit, RestAssured, and SonarQube.
- Ability to contribute to system design discussions, resolve technical challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing and implementing reusable backend services and contributing to scalable system designs.
- Working knowledge of API security standards (e.g., OAuth2, JWT) and basic integration with security frameworks (e.g., Spring Security).
- Exposure to cryptographic concepts (FIPS) and protocols (e.g., TLS), with practical implementation experience.
- Understanding of privacy by design and DevSecOps principles in CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with secure coding standards and interest in improving system resilience and threat protection.
- Exposure to event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and message brokers is a plus.
- Ability to write Shell scripts or backend tooling utilities in scripting languages such as Python or Node.js.
