As a Guidewire consulting generalist at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for Guidewire software solutions. You will apply an in-depth knowledge of Guidewire applications to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support specific to Guidewire software.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing .NET applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services (WCF) for application integration.
- Implement and maintain database solutions using SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-based services where applicable.
- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and design to deployment and support.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain code quality through code reviews and unit testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
What You Must Have
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in .NET application development
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in .NET application development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and VB.NET.
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.).
- Solid understanding of REST API development and integration.
- Expertise in SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and optimization.
- Experience with Web Services, WCF, and service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
