Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst – Data Governance to join the Data & Analytics Group (DAG) at Wissen Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data governance initiatives across private investment domains, ensuring high-quality, traceable, and well-managed data across the organization.

Experience: 4-12 Years

Location: Gurugram.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve data quality issues within Investment Management (IM) data architecture.
  
  

• Drive the implementation of data governance frameworks as part of ongoing projects.
  
  

• Collaborate with data owners and cross-functional teams to identify and address root causes of data issues.
  
  

• Manage the onboarding of data from various internal and external sources into central repositories.
  
  

• Define and implement data quality rules in collaboration with stakeholders and IT teams.
  
  

• Analyze business processes and data flows to identify and implement productivity enhancements.
  
  

• Document business requirements and data-related use cases.
  
  

• Oversee change control processes and support UAT activities.
  
  

• Proactively identify and escalate data issues.
  
  

• Support broader Data & Analytics Group (DAG) initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Strong collaboration skills with both business and technology teams.
  
  

• Proficient in data analysis and tracing data lineage across systems.
  
  

• Experience working across complex organizational structures and virtual teams.
  
  

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  
  

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team settings.
  
  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Key Qualifications:

• Strong domain knowledge in investment banking and financial data.
  
  

• 4-12 years of experience in financial services or investment/asset management.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and profiling.
  
  

• Familiarity with coding (Python is a plus).
  
  

• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
