Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong experience in SQL scripting and web application development. This hybrid role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that product requirements are well understood, documented, and implemented effectively.
Shift Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST (US Work timings)
Work Mode: Remote
Roles And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong experience in SQL scripting and web application development. This hybrid role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that product requirements are well understood, documented, and implemented effectively.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Act as a Product Owner for web applications, managing product backlog and prioritizing features.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Conduct SQL-based data analysis, validation, and reporting to support product decisions.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in software development projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for querying, analysis, and data validation.
- Solid understanding of web application architecture and functionality.
- Experience in writing clear and detailed user stories, workflows, and business process documents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- End to End Root Cause Analysis and document. Can drive solution to broader audience.
- Incident & Problem tickets Triaging and Problem/Issue solving mindset.
- Solid mix of technical and functional aspects.
- Analytical depth and should be able to connect the dots between system and application.
- Basic Java understanding.
- Experience with wireframing or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq).
- Background in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
- Exposure to API specifications and integration projects.
- Domain experience in Banking, Insurance
