Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze data gaps between various front office source systems providing data for building liquidity models
- Building of robust data quality and control processes to ensure project delivers uniform and good quality data
- The project involves work on the existing tactical tool, as well as a focus on moving this to the long-term strategic application
- Holding requirement gathering sessions, gaining consensus and creation of meeting minutes.
- Translating business requirements into Business and Technical documents.
- Validation that the application meets the project specification and clients expectations.
- Providing detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows where necessary.
- Proficiency in Excel will be required for data analysis and model building. It is a must have.
- Ability to create Power Point presentations for senior management documenting the vision and current project status
- Various workstreams to understand data requirements for building liquidity, collateral and capital models
- Other technical and analyst team members present globally to ensure a coherent and robust solution environment.
- Other interfaced systems which are required for the overall front to back to operate correctly. To understand data sources/issues, and to integrate appropriate tactical and strategic initiatives into the technical roadmap.
- 5-10 yrs of overall IT/Finance experience
- Strong ability to analyse complex workflows and datasets
- Assessment and management of risks and issues
- Experience in Liquidity & Collateral management or Regulatory Reporting will be a plus
- Proven track record in business analysis, including gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications and test scenarios
- Must have had experience working according to a project plan and delivering technology solutions
- A sound understanding of the project life cycle - experience working on projects utilising Agile methodology would be advantageous
- Ability to engage in technical interpretations would be beneficial, but not essential
- Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to see tasks through to completion
- Ability to work to aggressive deadlines
- Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures
- Desire to challenge existing processes and drive forward change
- Initiative and ability to think laterally
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to make persuading presentations
- Competent in Word & Excel
