Role Description
Waf,Cdn,Business Analysis
- Serve as the primary point of contact for WAF implementations, resolving technical issues independently or in collaboration with CDN/WAF customer support or professional services.
- Develop and maintain WAF Target Operating Model (TOM) and Capability Model.
- Lead technical efforts in WAF-related projects; coordinate with vendor technical project teams and solution engineers.
- Collaborate with various teams to plan, execute, and successfully deliver WAF-related project components.
- Engage with stakeholders to set expectations, manage scope and risks, and ensure project alignment with business outcomes.
- Own the technical integration components of projects including configuration changes, testing, documentation, debugging, and go-live support.
- Work with WAF vendor customer care to troubleshoot and resolve integration and post-implementation issues.
- Estimate and manage timelines for WAF integration and implementation activities.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review configurations with vendor professional services to ensure quality and compliance with requirements.
- Coordinate change management activities with service owners and stakeholders to support smooth implementations.
- Ensure timely, efficient delivery of changes to meet project deadlines.
- Support coordination of release management and IT Security Operations (ITSOs).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant technical roles, especially in infrastructure, application security, and CDN administration.
- Experience with WAF solutions (e.g., Akamai WAF, AWS WAF, etc.) is highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, build and deployment tools.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and project lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with software quality management, quality control, and version control management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Willingness to occasionally work over weekends to support project needs.
