Job Summary
The Business Analyst – Strategy & Operations will be part of the Office of the COO, working directly with senior leadership to drive enterprise-level strategic priorities, operational performance, and transformation initiatives at Cogneesol.
This role is designed for a high-potential strategy professional who thrives in solving complex business problems, translating strategic priorities into executable programs, and enabling data-driven decision-making at the executive level.
The individual will act as a force multiplier for the COO, supporting the design, execution, and monitoring of key strategic initiatives that drive growth, operational excellence, and AI-led transformation across the organization.
This role provides high visibility with leadership and exposure to cross-functional decision-making, making it an excellent platform for developing future leaders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory to COO
- Serve as a strategic advisor and analytical partner to the COO on enterprise priorities.
- Support development and execution of company-wide strategic initiatives including growth strategy, operational transformation, and capability expansion.
- Develop strategic frameworks, scenario analyses, and business cases to support leadership decision-making.
- Prepare CEO/Board-ready presentations, briefing notes, and strategy documents.
- Design and maintain enterprise-level performance dashboards covering financial, operational, and client metrics.
- Track key business drivers including:
- Revenue growth
- Margin performance
- Delivery productivity
- Client portfolio health
- Operational efficiency
- Identify performance gaps and develop actionable insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Lead weekly and monthly business reviews with data-backed insights
- Support the COO in driving high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, such as:
- Enterprise transformation programs
- AI-led operational modernization
- New service line development
- Market expansion strategies
- Strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Responsibilities include::
- Structuring program roadmaps and implementation plans
- Defining KPIs, milestones, and success metrics
- Managing stakeholder alignment across business units
- Monitoring program progress, risks, and impact
- Identify opportunities to enhance delivery productivity, cost efficiency, and operational scalability.
- Support initiatives around:
- Process optimization
- Automation and AI adoption
- Workflow redesign
- Resource utilization improvement
- Collaborate with delivery and operations leaders to improve turnaround times, utilization, and margins.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the BPM, outsourcing, and digital services landscape.
- Track competitor strategies, market shifts, and emerging technologies.
- Develop insights to inform new service offerings and growth opportunities.
- Identify cross-selling and account expansion opportunities across the client portfolio.

Strategic Problem Solving

- Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Ability to translate data into clear executive insights
Executive Communication
- Ability to build high-impact presentations for senior leadership
- Strong written communication and storytelling ability
- Comfortable working closely with C-level executives
Program & Stakeholder Management
- Ability to drive initiatives across multiple teams and functions
- Strong coordination and execution capabilities
- MBA from a top-tier institution preferred
- Background in engineering, business, economics, or analytics is advantageous
