|Job Overview:| We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our lean Automation Team supporting GOM and GOS organizations. This is a dedicated, hands-on role with full end-to-end ownership of 10+ mission-critical Oracle APEX applications (architecture, design, development, enhancement, maintenance, bug fixing, upgrades, and daily production support). The successful candidate will be the sole APEX specialist on the team, working alongside two RPA-focused developers, and will exclusively focus on Oracle APEX and PL/SQL deliverables.
|Requirements:|
- |Technical Skills:|
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle APEX (versions 19.x to latest) – application building, Page Designer, Interactive Reports/Grids, Dynamic Actions, APEX plugins, RESTful services, authentication/authorization schemes, and APEX office print.
- Advanced PL/SQL skills – packages, procedures, functions, triggers, bulk processing, exception handling, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience in APEX application upgrades, patching, deployment processes, and production troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of Oracle database concepts, SQL tuning, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Order Management data structures is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and debugging skills in high-pressure production environments.
- Strong communication skills to gather requirements from business stakeholders and explain technical solutions.

|Qualifications:|
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Oracle APEX and PL/SQL development experience.
- Proven track record of single-handedly building, enhancing, and supporting multiple production APEX applications. Career Level - IC2 / IC3 (depending on experience)
|Responsibilities:|
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain 10+ mission-critical Oracle APEX applications end-to-end, ensuring high performance, security, and usability.
- Build and optimize complex Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, RESTful services, custom plugins, and APEX Office Print solutions.
- Write, tune, and maintain advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and bulk-processing logic to support APEX applications and backend data needs.
- Perform APEX application upgrades, patching, deployments, and production troubleshooting with minimal downtime.
- Implement and manage robust APEX authentication/authorization schemes, session state protection, and application security standards.
- Create modern, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces using APEX Universal Theme, CSS, custom CSS, Template Options, and JavaScript.
- Enhance user experience through custom JavaScript (jQuery, Dynamic Actions, AJAX callbacks), CSS overrides, and third-party libraries where required.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders from GOM and GOS organizations to gather requirements, prototype UI/UX improvements, and deliver intuitive solutions.
- Proactively monitor, debug, and resolve production incidents while ensuring data accuracy and system stability.
- Continuously improve the APEX portfolio by adopting the latest Oracle APEX features, performance-tuning techniques, and modern front-end best practices.
