Business Analyst 4-Ops

Overview

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes. Work with Data Engineers to build and support data ingestion, integration, analytics and cloud applications to make data in CloudIQ relevant, trustworthy and actionable.

• Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends/opportunities and to turn data science prototypes into robust, reliable solutions.
• Propose and guide the framework of data analysis to drive business insight and facilitate decisions. Establish standard methodologies for data science including modeling, coding, analytics, and experimentation.
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes to boost team productivity, such as model development, model validation and model implementation.
• Identify data science use cases and design scalable solutions that can be built as a feature of the product/service.
• Design and develop customized machine learning solutions for OCI customers, products and services.
• Manage all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues and communications.
• Experience with Oracle suite of Cloud products and services including APEX, Oracle Database, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC), Oracle Data Integration Services, Oracle Data Science Services and APIs.
  
  
  

• Work with Data Engineers to build and support data ingestion, integration, analytics and cloud applications to make data in CloudIQ relevant, trustworthy and actionable.
• Work closely with business teams to understand business requirements, and implement new data streams, features and applications.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to ensure CloudIQ provides required data and level of granularity for advanced Data Science projects to augment Cloud applications and provide Management Insights.
• Work directly with architects to keep solutions technically relevant by applying correct design principles, and ensure efficient and supportable environments, leveraging Cloud services to integrate into automated Cloud Management processes.
• Be technically hands-on and drive/support key end-to-end delivery of CloudIQ reporting from developing data pipelines through to reporting and applications.
• Create a culture of learning, growth and service mindset.
• Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Design and develop customized machine learning solutions for OCI customers, products and services.
• Collaborate with engineering to build pipelines and tools for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and model deployment.
• Evaluate and implement ML solutions based on specific business requirements.
• Develop production code for feature processing, model prediction/serving and performance monitoring for both batch and near real-time scenarios.
• Perform ad hoc and in-depth analyses and then surface/report insights through dashboards & visualization.
• Drive clarity and solve ambiguous, challenging business problems using data-driven approaches.
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how hardware quality and reliability can be improved.
• Leverage data to understand product performance and to identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends/opportunities and to turn data science prototypes into robust, reliable solutions.
