Job Title: Business Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst / Business Analytics Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support key business decisions. This role combines analytical expertise with business acumen to help optimize business processes, improve performance, and guide strategy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis:
• Collect, clean, and analyze business data from various sources.
• Use statistical methods and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to extract insights from large datasets.
• Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and predictive modeling to assist in business decision-making.
• Reporting:
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business performance.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports to stakeholders on key business metrics.
• Identify opportunities for improving reporting systems and ensuring data quality.
• Business Insights:
• Translate data findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with various departments (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Forecasting and Modeling:
• Build predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes (e.g., sales, customer behavior).
• Provide insights to optimize resource allocation and improve business strategies.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with senior management to understand business objectives and align analytics efforts with company goals.
• Present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis trends, tools, and technologies.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve data collection, analysis methods, and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python).
• Solid understanding of business processes and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with statistical modeling, data mining, and forecasting techniques is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
• Previous experience in a business analytics role in a similar industry.
