Overview
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Develop a deep understanding of current business processes and identify areas for optimization and innovation.
- Clearly and effectively explain project objectives, individual roles, responsibilities, and daily activities to team members and stakeholders.
- Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Develop process flow diagrams, use cases, and other visual aids to communicate business needs and proposed solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and subject matter experts, throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Participate in testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Assist in the development of training materials and provide support during user training.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and tools within the organization.
- Experience : 6+ years of proven experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence effectively.
- Explanation Abilities : Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate project roles, responsibilities, and daily activities to team members and stakeholders.
- Business Process Understanding : Strong understanding of various business processes and the ability to analyze and document them effectively.
- Business Analysis Techniques : Proficiency in using various business analysis techniques, such as requirements elicitation, process modeling, use case development, and data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in [mention relevant industry if applicable].
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with specific business analysis tools (e.g, Jira, Confluence, Visio).
- Any relevant certifications in Business Analysis (e.g, CBAP, PMI-PBA)
