Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering:

• Communicate with clients (via calls, emails, or meetings) to understand their business goals and project expectations. (If required)

Documentation & Analysis:

• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) based on client inputs.

• Create feature lists, user stories, and use cases aligned with the project scope.

• Draft structured and clear proposals for new projects and feature enhancements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure the deliverables match documented requirements.

• Clarify requirements during the development lifecycle and assist in backlog grooming if needed.

Client Communication:

• Act as a bridge between the client and the development team during the requirement finalisation and design phase.

• Participate in requirement review sessions and feedback collection.

Must-Have Skills:

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in a Web or Mobile App Development company.

• Solid understanding of SDLC (Agile or Waterfall models).

• Proven experience in creating:

• BRD

• SRS

• Feature Lists

• Functional Specifications

• Proposals or RFPs

• Strong communication skills – written and verbal.

• Proficiency in tools like Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, and requirement management tools like ClickUp, Trello, or JIRA (as applicable).

• Ability to create flow diagrams, wireframes, or basic mockups using tools like Draw.io, Balsamiq, or Figma (optional, but preferred).

Good to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Exposure to client meetings or discovery sessions.

• Experience working with UI/UX teams.

• Basic understanding of API, databases, or frontend/backend concepts to explain requirements to developers better.

• Familiarity with preparing timelines or estimations in coordination with the tech team.
