Business Analyst

Overview

• Analyze healthcare operations, workflows, and data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Assist in the implementation of healthcare IT systems (e.g., HIS, EMR/EHR, LIS, PACS).
• Monitor KPIs such as patient turnaround time, service quality, cost-effectiveness, and staff utilization.
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for new initiatives or process changes.
• Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for performance tracking and decision-making.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams or vendors.
• Support regulatory and compliance documentation related to healthcare standards (e.g., NABL, NABH, HIPAA).
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure continuous alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (e.g., patient registration, billing, diagnostics, treatment).
• Experience with hospital or diagnostic management systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA in Healthcare Management or certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA).
• Familiarity with healthcare data privacy regulations (HIPAA, HL7, ICD codes).
• Experience in quality improvement or accreditation projects (e.g., NABH/NABL audits).
• Working knowledge of BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
