Technical Skills

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
• Ability to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and observations.
• Proficiency in creating clear and concise requirement specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements.
• Business Process Modelling:
• Familiarity with business process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts, use case diagrams) to visualize and analyze workflows.
• Skills in identifying areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Data Analysis:
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including the ability to work with databases (SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to interpret and present data.
• Documentation Skills:
• Strong writing skills to create various documentation types, including requirement specifications, user stories, business cases, and process documentation.
• Tools and Software:
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and other project management tools for tracking requirements and managing projects.
• Technical Understanding:
• Basic understanding of software development principles, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and system architecture to communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Experience in creating test plans and test cases, as well as actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets business needs.

• Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate business needs, present findings, and convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels within the organization, understanding their needs, concerns, and priorities.
• Critical Thinking:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess information critically, identify issues, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Adaptability and Flexibility:
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a dynamic environment while remaining focused on project goals.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
• Negotiation and Conflict Resolution:
• Ability to negotiate priorities, manage conflicting interests, and facilitate consensus among stakeholders.
  
  

Experience Required

• Work Experience:
• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Prior experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) can be beneficial.
