Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 1 to 2 years of experience in the IT sector to join our Chennai team. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to analyze requirements and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and use cases.
- Work with development and QA teams to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Participate in system testing, UAT, and production rollout.
- Assist in creating user manuals, process flows, and training materials.
Required Skills:
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT or software development domain.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in writing clear and concise requirement documents and user stories.
- Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
- Good knowledge of wireframing/prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma – optional).
- Basic understanding of databases, APIs, or software architecture is a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Any certification in Business Analysis (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP) or Agile (CSPO, Scrum Master) is an added advantage.
