Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to drive the growth of our upskilling and training solutions in the Indian higher education market, focusing on universities, colleges, and technical institutions. This role requires strong relationship-building, consultative sales skills, and a deep understanding of the evolving education and employability landscape in India.

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to drive the growth of our upskilling and training solutions in the Indian higher education market, focusing on universities, colleges, and technical institutions. This role requires strong relationship-building, consultative sales skills, and a deep understanding of the evolving education and employability landscape in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and engage with decision-makers (Placement Officers, Deans, HODs, Training & Development Coordinators) across Indian universities and colleges.
- Promote NetCom Learning’s portfolio of training and certification programs tailored for student upskilling and career readiness(NetCom+).
- Build partnerships with higher education institutions to integrate training modules into curriculum, placement programs, or as add-on certifications.
- Develop strategic outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, webinars) to generate qualified leads and build a strong education pipeline.
- Conduct demo sessions and presentations showcasing NetCom+ value proposition in skilling and employability enhancement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize training bundles aligned with industry demands and academic schedules.
- Track sales metrics, prepare regular reports, and maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce).
- Stay informed on education policies, government skilling initiatives (e.g., NEP 2020, Skill India), and emerging institutional needs.
- Master’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, or academic partnerships (preferably in EdTech or training domain).

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the Indian higher education landscape and its skilling challenges.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience working with colleges/universities or government education projects is a plus.
- Understanding of certifications in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, and other in-demand areas.
- Experience using CRM platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Regional language proficiency (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, etc.) is an advantage.
