Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring that project deliverables are aligned with the business. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly, and will participate in testing activities to validate solutions.

Business Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define business problems concisely, consolidate the findings and hypothesize the proposed solution
• Independently liaise with customers and convincingly present solutions in an unstructured and ever-changing client environment. Be able to independently question the customer, when required.
• Contribute to organization building through training, mentoring, and developing repeatable analytic approaches
• Work with UI/UX Designers to finalize the FIGMA designs of PowerBI Dashboards
• Design Gold Layer Schema using DBDiagram with synchronizing Data Engineering and PoweBI Team
• Connect with relevant Stakeholders and end users of the Dashboard to incorporate their feedback and seek Mappings and other relevant information.
• Review Gold Layer Data once ingestion is complete from the Data Engineering Team.
• Data validation on Data warehouses through SQL
• Provide calculation logics and list of KPIs to PowerBI team as per the Dashboard requirements.
• Be the POC for PowerBI team on behalf of Data Engineering team and also requirement understanding gaps if any
• Review PowerBI Dashboard once made available
  
  

Mandated Skills:

• Degree in Tech/M.Tech/Bsc/Msc etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data Validation Skills to validate Source Data to the Final Data Set along with Knowledge of DBMS and SQL
• 4-7 years of professional work experience in quality assurance least 2 years in a techno-functional area
• Proven exceptional problem-solving analytical skills with an ability to blend creativity and logical thought to innovatively think through a problem and develop solutions
• Able to communicate the requirement clearly to Data Engineering and powerBI team and answer all their business queries
• Connect with relevant Stakeholders and end users of the Dashboard to incorporate their feedback and seek mappings and other relevant information.
• Review Gold Layer Data once ingestion is complete from the Data Engineering Team.
• Provide calculation logics and list of KPIs to PowerBI team as per the Dashboard requirements.
• Be the POC for PowerBI team on behalf of DE and also requirement understanding gaps if any
  
  

Desired Skills:

• Strong project management and team management skills and ability to work with global teams
• Basic knowledge of data engineering pipelines and the various data layers
• Hands on quantitative experience with analytic tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus
• A self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance
• Understanding in an Agile/Scrum development process
