As a Senior Business Analyst Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of experienced Business Analysts (BAs) to ensure the successful delivery of business analysis activities and solutions. Job Description
As a Senior Business Analyst Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of experienced Business Analysts (BAs) to ensure the successful delivery of business analysis activities and solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders, facilitating requirements gathering, and providing guidance and support to the BA team members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects and initiatives are aligned with business objectives and effectively meet the needs of stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of BAs, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure individual and team success. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, elicit requirements, and analyze complex business processes. Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of requirements.
- Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and coordinate the BA team's activities to meet project timelines and objectives. Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, developers, and testers. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and properly communicated.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve BA practices, methodologies, and tools. Implement best practices and standards to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the BA team's work.
- Quality Assurance: Review and validate requirements documents, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives. Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Training and Development: Identify skill gaps within the BA team and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their capabilities. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in project management and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and compliance requirements (if applicable).
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
