Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Perform requirements analysis and identify gaps.
- When needed, challenge / negotiate such requirements to align them with the best way of using technology.
- Document the functional specifications and business process changes related to business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Business processes and reporting.
- Work with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain changes on documentation (ex. user guides, policies, system, and training) including the integration of new processes and technologies within the current operations.
- Create and document test cases to confirm that deployed solutions will live up to established business requirements, standards & practices.
- Coordinate and/or execute test activities including user acceptance ones, and document results.
- Liaise with other teams impacted by changes including Helpdesk.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external clients.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT business analyst working with large organizations
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field, or a combination of other relevant experience and education.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to negotiate with stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced business process and technical background.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of requirements modelling and technical documentation
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, ServiceNow
- Knowledge of workflows and process automation
- Knowledge of Change Management processes is an asset
- Experience in one or more of these fields Telephony/BPO, Backoffice applications (mailroom etc.), workforce management
- Certification in business analysis, CBAP or PMI-PBA an asset."
