Oyela is a fast-growing D2C fashion brand redefining India’s fast fashion landscape. We’re
redesigning the fashion supply chain using technology and proprietary fabrics to deliver high-quality,
trend-driven apparel at accessible prices. In just 12 months, we’ve scaled to a ~$4M ARR and are
now expanding our data and business strategy functions to fuel the next phase of growth.
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who will act as the bridge between our business, product, and
operations teams. Your mission is to turn data and insights into actionable strategies — optimizing
processes, improving decision-making, and driving growth across Oyela’s product, supply chain, and
customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business, marketing, and operations teams to understand challenges and
translate them into analytical and process improvement initiatives.
- Create P&L weekly basis to track improvement parameter
- Reporting to external investor, founders on weekly basis for major business metrics
- Analyze business performance (sales, inventory, marketing ROI, customer retention,
manufacturing ROI ) and identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with tech/product teams to define requirements for dashboards, automation tools,
or internal systems to fasten internal process
- Create and maintain KPI frameworks and business reports (conversion rates, order
fulfillment, repeat purchase trends etc).
- Evaluate and streamline internal workflows — from design to production, inventory
management to order dispatch, delivery to return flow etc
- Support strategic projects such as pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and new
category launches.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear, data-
backed manner.
Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in a D2C, eCommerce, or apparel
environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and Python pandas/SQL
(basic querying).
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio is a plus.
- Understanding of eCommerce metrics: CAC, LTV, AOV, conversion rates, inventory turnover,
working capital etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- A bias for action — ability to identify gaps and proactively drive change.
