Overview
What Success Looks Like In This Role- Provides Business Systems Analysis advice and support on major projects across the company.
- Engages with senior leadership to identify and define business critical process improvements.
- Monitors Business Systems Analysis progress and status, identifying trends and resolving technical and process issues.
- Advises management on progress, status, trends and issues.
- Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts and decomposes high-level information into actionable / discrete components to distinguish user requests from true underlying needs.
- Works with business and technical colleagues to ensure proposed architecture, application designs and implementation proposals align with and support current and anticipated business need.
- Monitors functional metrics to identify systemic issues, recommending resolution strategies.
- Provides subject matter expertise to help team members and systems users address identified issues and challenges.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Ability to interface with global client/ technical teams in a hybrid business/ tech capacity
- Ability to managing conflicting stakeholder requirements to bring consensus and maintain impeccable relationships
- Analyse and model business processes. Leads business process development. For example,
- Reporting processes
- Itil process in service environment
- Service operating procedures, including knowledge management development
- Work with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience of documenting “As Is/To Be” processes and the ability to translate complexity into clear requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
- Assist in the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and support testing activities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, requirements, and user guides.
BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role working with external clients and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CBAP qualification, BCS, preference for membership of IIBA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies. (BRD, BDD, SSM, SWOT, MOST etc, along with demonstrable experience.
- Experience with project management software and tools and working in a managed services environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrable Knowledge of ITIL trends and best practices.
